Touch Arts suggests a few itineraries for you to enjoy the International Museum Day

There are so many activities around town during this weekend of International Museum Day. Touch Arts plans three itineraries for you to enjoy your weekend touching arts and culture.

Tour A – Family cooking tour (in Shatin)
– Join “Workshop on mango custard rolls” Tao Heung Museum of Food Culture
- In the afternoon, enroll in “The Joy of Country Cooking” in the Hong Kong Heritage Museum
- Finally, get Challenge cards and explore the museum with kids – “Discover the Museum:Tons of Knowledge and Fun”

 

Tour B – Chinese Painting and Calligraphy tour on Saturday (in Tsimshatsui and Shatin)
- Tour the art exhibition “ The Four Gentlemen: A Selection of Flower Paintings from the Hong Kong Museum of Art Collection”at the Hong Kong Museum of Art
- Enrol in "In Touch with Chinese Painting" to learn Chinese painting.
- In the afternoon, join the programme at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum “Let’s learn from the Works of Professor Chao Shao-an”
- Finally, create your own Chinese fan using a mix of ink, watercolour and collage.<

 

Tour C – Green culture tour on Sunday (in Tsimshatsui)
- Tour the exhibition “Save the Environment” and join the workshop “Green Culture: Asiatic Wormwood Mosquito Repellent DIY”in the Hong Kong Museum of History
- In the afternoon, enjoy the drama performance “Tour of The Drama of Climate Change”at the Hong Kong Science Museum to learn more about the impact of climate change through an interesting drama.
